Environmental
We tread lightly
- We're working to use energy more efficiently in an effort to cut down on carbon emissions.
- We recycle, manage waste properly, avoid single-use plastics, and reuse greywater.
- Solar panels are going up on buildings, roadsides and wherever else we can fit them.
- We're adding EV charging spots and bikes/eco-bikes around our sites to help people get around sustainably.
- Sustainability is at the core of how we design, build, and care for our golf courses.
- We’re also boosting biodiversity through rewilding, planting trees and hedgerows, creating habitats, and keeping our own beehives!
Social
We care for our people and our place.
- We’re all about inclusion, equality, and celebrating diversity.
- We encourage everyone—especially women and girls—to get involved in golf and other games, no matter their background.
- We create local job opportunities with fair pay and equal treatment.
- We’re building inclusive community spaces and working closely with schools, charities, and other local groups (think golf workshops and education about nature and rewilding!).
- We champion mental wellbeing by offering spaces for people to relax and recharge through indoor and outdoor activities.

Little Touches
Care in every detail
- All of our sites host thriving bee colonies who pollinate our wonderful landscapes and produce the honey you’ll find in your room.
- Our kitchen gardens produce the herbs and edible flowers we use in our dishes - the rest of our menu is sourced in collaboration with local, trustworthy suppliers.
- Our wildflower meadow restoration is underway… look out for them on your next visit.
- Our retail product range is chosen carefully to ensure we work with sustainable materials where possible and suppliers that care about the environment as much as we do.
- We seek to educate all of our team in sustainability best practices with opportunities to implement their learnings back into how we operate.
